Brugneto Lake was artificially created in 1959 by Azienda Municipalizzata Gas e Acqua di Genova (Genoa Gas and Water Municipal Company) after the building of a dam across stream Brugneto. The reservoir is the main water supply for Genoa: it's 3 km long, 200 m wide, has a perimeter of 13 km and a 25 cubic metres storage.

The typical ligurian hamlet Pentema, situated under the slope which separates Pentemina Valley from Brevenna Valley, dates back to XIV century and is 10 km far from Torriglia. It's composed of a few natural stone houses deep in the green hills overlooking the church. It's popular for its Nativity, faithful reconstruction of the farmers' life at the end of XIX century. From Pentema starts a one-hour scenic looping route, which climbs to Nostra Signora della Guardia chapel and up to Passo del Colletto then back down to the rural hamlet Buoni and in the end to the starting point of the track.

Carlo Androne rugby pitch is located in Via Fieschi, in Recco, and all the matches at home of the local rugby team "Pro Recco" have been played there since the end of the '60s.

Santo Stefano is becoming more and more popular as winter destination for cross country ski fans. The ring connecting the peaks surrounding the village is definetely remarkable and so the ski slopes that wind through beech and conifer woods: Rocca d' Aveto- Pian Pendin, Pian Pendin- Passo dell' Incisa, Monte Penna Ring, Caserma Monte Penna- Ponte Re di Coppe.

Every 3rd weekend of May the sport event "Five Bell-Towers March" takes place in Zoagli on a ring trail connecting the hamlets- and so their churches and bell- towers: S. Pietro di Rovereto, S. Giovanni Battista di Semorile, S. Ambrogio, S. Pantaleo e S. Martino.

A scenic route – recommended for expert trekkers - departing from the sport centre in Rossiglione alongside the stream Gargassa through a wild and fascinating nature characterised both by bare, almost absent vegetation along some exposed parts of the trail and by naturally shaped canyons, gorges and stone sculptures through easier parts equipped with gangways.
