The bridge is commonly called 'medieval bridge' even if the correct name would be 'bridge with medieval features'. It was built at the end of the XIX century even though the architectural features recall the Roman or medieval bridges.
Agoraie Reserve is set in the Alta Scrivia Valley, to the north of the slope that climbs from Passo della Forcella to Mount Aiona, not far from Rezzoaglio. It is accessible only to academic, educational and scientific research.
Against all expectations one can find a Mariner Museum in Calvari, fraction of San Colombano. The museum was set up thanks to the contribution given by Captain Ernani Andreatta and the donations made by Franco Tommasino.
The sanctuary was built between 1925 and 1928 next to pre-existent church and to the XVIII century bell tower whose tilt was corrected in 1931 following the building project of priest Piccardo. The canvas of Madonna of Guadalupe is placed on the main central altar; it's a donation made by Cardinal Giuseppe Doria to the parish community in 1814, formerly set in Giovanni Andrea Doria's galley during Lepanto battle in 1571.
Once exploited as a wood supply for the shipyards of the Genoese Maritime Republic, Mount Penna Forest in 1956 became property of the State Forestry Corps that has been taking care of its natural beauty since then.
