It host the City Council. Built by Tobia Pallavicino (1558), it incorporated a medieval tower dating back to the thirteenth century. The Villa took the first name from the Marchesa Luisa Sauli Pallavicino who, in 1880, commissioned architect Luigi Rovelli, who also designed the park of Villa Brignole Sale Duchess of Galliera in Voltri, the design and construction of the large park. But not only. Luigi Rovelli also restored the Villa and gave it the current form of a medieval castle, with crenellated towers, according to the aesthetic sense of that time.

The Plateau of Piani di Praglia extends between 780 and 900 meters. above sea level. near the border between the Province of Genoa and the Province of Alessandria and it is crossed by the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, a journey of great panoramic views and great natural value.
The plateau takes its name from the Latin word Prataglia - ie pastures, meadows - because, since ancient times, the area was used for grazing, hay and rural activities.

In the heart of the Genoese Apennine, eight kilometers from Masone, in the municipality of Campo Ligure, there’s the Pratorondanino Plateau. Here, at 750 meters, lies the Mountain Botanical Garden, designed in 1979 with the aim to conserve, study and disseminate knowledge on the Apennine and Alps flora; in 1998 it became a regional protected area entrusted to the Province of Genoa, which has maintained the historic management of the GLAO.

The "Fairy Wood" is a veritable garden of shady chestnut trees, much loved by tourists and residents. The garden also hosts a recreation and sports center where you can play tennis, basketball and bowls, as well as spend the day with beautiful nature walks.
