The town of Portofino in collaboration with "Sugar Ltd." organizes a "live recording" of the singer Andrea Bocelli next 11th and 12th August. The event will be recorded by PBS, the American public television.

PLACES WHERE THE CONCERT TAKES PLACE
(Piazza Martiri dell’Olivetta, Calata Marconi, Molo Umberto I (sino ad imbarcadero), Vico Dritto, Salita alla Chiesa, Salita San Giorgio, Vico Nuovo, Vico Canonica)
There will be a VIP area for about 300/400 seated guests. The area will have the support of the project partners PR (PBS and Sugar co-producers of the event).
Free entry to public ONLY by reservation required at the existing restaurants, hotels and bars in the area.

PEDESTRIAN TRANSIT
The entire area of the event will be off limits to pedestrian movement and parking from 5pm to 6.15p.m.; in that time the whole area should be cleared of all pedestrians, even when residents and / or with access PASS.
From 6.15p.m. to 7.30pm the access will be granted to authorized pedestrians equipped with PASS to reach the seats reserved at the public exercises.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AUTHORIZED GUESTS EQUIPPED WITH PASS MUST REACH THE RESTAURANT OR CAFÉ THEY’VE BOOKED NO LATER THAN THE 7.30 p.m.

The town hall of PORTOFINO has provided on 11th and 12th August 2012, a free transportation service reserved for clients of restaurants, cafès and hotels provided with access PASS, which is organized as follows:

FERRY SERVICE: PASS holders with free access to the area:
from Rapallo from 5.30pm to 6.45pm (every 15 minutes)
from Santa Margherita Ligure from at 5.45pm to 7.00pm (every 15 minutes).
SHUTTLE SERVICE: two free 15-seater minibus from carparking in Via Favale (fee) to the departure of the boats from S. Margherita Ligure.
The shuttle runs 5.00pm and 7.00p.m.

FERRY SERVICE PASS holders with free access to the area:
Portofino from 11.00pm to 00:15a.m. (every 15 minutes) to Santa Margherita Ligure and Rapallo;
SHUTTLE SERVICE two free 15-seater minibuses from the boat arrival in Santa Margherita Ligure to the carparking in Via Favale.
The shuttle runs continuously between 11.00p.m. to 01.00a.m.
